Dear Edward - Ann Napolitano: listening to this on audiobook. Just started but engaging so far.
The Starless Sea - Erin Morgenstern: started this on audiobook but I haven’t been able to get into it. It has a YA vibe that isn’t what I’m looking for right now, but I still haven’t decided on whether or not to abandon it
The New York Trilogy - Paul Auster: read the first book in the trilogy last month and liked it, but I haven’t returned back to the final two books. This one has sat on my currently-reading shelf for far too long. I really should drop it off and return to it later.
Recently read
The Archive of Alternate Endings - Lindsey Drager: I really liked this one and it would seem to be a book that would reward you on multiple readings. Many intricate connections across time, space, and narratives.
What It Means When a Man Falls from the Sky - Lesley Nneka Arimah: listened to this on audiobook and as a collection of short stories that was probably the wrong format. Even though, there were several very engaging stories in the collection and I’d recommend it.
Americanah - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: this book took me forever to read but I always make a point of saying it wasn’t the fault of the book. In hindsight I think living with the characters for as long as I did might have been a plus.
Frankissstein - Jeanette Winterson: this was just okay. I admired what it set out to do but didn’t work as well as a whole as I’d hoped it would.

Grief is the Thing with Feathers - Max Porter
