Making Habits Easy

So this post is an example of it’s topic. I want to start a new habit of updating my blog, but right now it’s just not easy enough for me to write a new post on a regularly basis. In an effort to fix that, I’ve done two things. First, I’ve given myself permission to make blog posts that are no more than a paragraph long. Second, I’ve written a couple of Shortcuts on my iPhone to streamline posting: one that will create a markdown file for me to write in and another that commits and pushes my post to my GitHub repo where it will be pushed lived onto my site. If you are reading this it means it worked.
